A close friend went to the ER to get a shooting pain checked out, nothing was found and he was discharged and sent home...with EIGHT prescriptions. Since there had been no diagnosis, he questioned this and was told, "There's no mistake. They have your name on it, these are the doctor's orders." Long story short, the hospital had a lot of 'splainin' to do. Can you imagine taking 8 medications, none of which were meant for you??? And many people don't even think to question things in that situation. You wouldn’t believe some of the emails I’ve been getting with more hospital stories.
